Add ability to add references in the code itself?

With our main product sometimes I compile in debug and sometime in release. If I want to reference dlls in either of these folders, it would be nice to be able to do it in code so it is visible to me what I am referencing.

Something similar to:

http://www.csscript.net/help/using_.net_assemblies.html

Ideally this should also work with environment variables in the path names.
