!! New users - HOW TO POST !!

New user registrations need to approved due to an ongoing war with the SpamBots. When you register, there's a box to indicate the reason for joining. Say something about LINQPad to indicate that you're human, and you'll soon be a member!

  • Say I have this enum type in my object model...

    ///
    /// Determines the scan resolution.
    ///
    public enum class ScanResolution {
    ///
    /// 240x120 (iNSIGHT 70/150 OMR mode - high speed)
    ///
    [Description("240x120 (iNSIGHT 70/150 OMR mode - high speed)")]
    Dpi240x120,

    ///
    /// 240x240 (iNSIGHT 70/150 native image mode - low speed)
    ///
    [Description("240x240 (iNSIGHT 70/150 native image mode - low speed)")]
    Dpi240x240,

    The visualizer ignores the Description attribute and uses the stock display which unfortunately is not user friendly.

    Any thoughts?

    Use <summary> to complement your Intellisense info.

    The text for the <summary> tag is the only source of information about the type in IntelliSense, and is also displayed in the Object Browser Window.
