Re: How to indent a Dump() result?
Yes, something like that. I hope that feature can be built-in to LINQPad. :smile: Usage example: a.Dump(indent: 1);if (a == ""){ b.Dump(indent: 2);} Or like this: using (var scope1 = new Util.DumpScope()){ a.Dump(); // auto-indented 1 level using (var scope2 = new Util.DumpScope()) { b.Dump(); // auto-indented 2 level }} -

Re: Automatically scrolling when updating a scrollable StackPanel
The issue with the highlighting is an issue with how observables are dumped and how highlighting is handled. I don't think the highlighter was designed to be used with observable sequences. If you remove the highlighting, it will be dumped as a table like you'd expect. You can play around with observables with… -

Re: LINQPad 8 early preview now available
Came across an issue with V8.1.3. To reproduce run the following script Util.AutoScrollResults=true;Enumerable.Range(1, 1000).Dump("");new Button("Print", (p) => Enumerable.Range(1, 1000).Dump("")).Dump(); Then 1. Click on the print button. 2. Hide the editor (Ctrl-Shift-R) 3. Switch to another query. 4. Switch back to… -

DumpPanel STA exception
In what I hope is the last step in the DumpPanel saga (for my purposes, at least). Reference code Running the code, I get the exception for line when attempting to write to the second panel. The first is created and displayed correctly. For some background, I was initially getting this problem to happen on the first… -
Show dif names when diffing lists
Hi, Is there an easy way to include the dif names when diffing two lists as opposed to two single objects? For example this code: void Main(){ var a = new House(1, 3); var b = new House(2, 3); Util.Dif(a, b).Dump(); var firstList = new List<House>() { new House(1, 3), new House(2, 3) }; var secondList = new List<House>() {… -

Using tables with period in name
If you have two tables in your database with the only difference in the name being a period, Linqpad doesn't show one of the tables. Example: Table1 Table.1 Each table will show in Sql Sever Management Studio but because linqpad removes the . only one shows in linqpad. Is there a way to workaround this without modifying… -
Re: Feature Request: Stop copying WebView2 files to Appdata Local
Thanks for the explanations. A couple of questions - is "retail" the normal browser, not the runtime? To rule out 1). Is the installed runtime normally located under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView\Application? I have listed in the Installed programs as "Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime". Can I reset the… -
Re: Creating a styled WPF GroupBox in pure code
In terms of answer the question 'How do I create this XAML programmatically', StackOverflow is probably a better bet. However, if you already have working XAML, it can sometimes be easier just to parse the XAML: var template = (ControlTemplate)XamlReader.Parse(""" <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type GroupBox}"… -

Re: LINQPadDbConnection vs. SqlConnection
I've recently run into this issue after upgrading to EF6 /w v4.47.02.
