Debugger values out when source includes line separator character (\u2028)
Hi, I'm noticing that using a verbatim string that includes a line separator character (u2028) seems to throw out the debugger. In the following screenshot notice that targetInlineWidth is reporting as 0, rather than 4: The correct value is dumped and in fact, if you put a breakpoint on line 7, then at that point… -
Re: The .snippet files cannot be used
Try 8.3.5 and let me know how you get along: https://www.linqpad.net/linqpad8.aspx#beta This will include snippets in subfolders in the shortcut list. However, you will need to put your subfolder inside the language-specific subfolder (e.g., "Visual C#") in order for this to work: docs\LINQPad Snippets\Visual C#\my… -
Re: Options to disambiguate conflicting generated database table names?
Ah ok. It's been a while since I've tried this. It does work now. Before it would have an error on line 13, I think saying something about not being able to use the generic type parameter on the non-generic Task. And at the time, I did have the System.Threading.Tasks namespace included. I suppose something has changed… -

Show dif names when diffing lists
Hi, Is there an easy way to include the dif names when diffing two lists as opposed to two single objects? For example this code: void Main(){ var a = new House(1, 3); var b = new House(2, 3); Util.Dif(a, b).Dump(); var firstList = new List<House>() { new House(1, 3), new House(2, 3) }; var secondList = new List<House>() {… -

LINQPad 4 'System.Data.Linq.Table<table>' does not contain a definition for 'Include'...
I am trying to debug a LINQ query that uses an .Include directive, but when I put an Include in it I get the error: 'System.Data.Linq.Table' does not contain a definition for 'Include' and no extension method 'Include' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Data.Linq.Table' could be found (press F4 to add a using… -
CS1061 ''Include' and no accessible extension metho
I am getting this error CS1061 'Table' does not contain a definition for 'Include' and no accessible extension method 'Include' accepting a first argument of type 'Table' could be found (press F4 to add a using directive or assembly reference) I found information for solving this, but it was for entity frame work and we… -
Include() extension method is not found
I am able to dovar result = OAS_Questions.Count (oasq => oasq.Id!=0); result.Dump(); and evenvar result = OAS_Questions; result.Dump(); But when I try to include child objects of "Questions" say "Opitons" throughvar result = OAS_Questions.Include("OAS_QuestionOptions"); result.Dump(); I am shown the below error… -
Default results CSS styles for strong element
Hey, I noticed that the default CSS contains the following CSS (shortened here): html,body,/*...*/em,/*...*/strong,var,i,/*...*/video { margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0; vertical-align: baseline; font: inherit; font-size: 100%}/* ... */i,em { font-style: italic} As you can see, the style is reset to font: inherit for a… -
Include .linq
How about a simple include funcionality... the include directive will act as the 'placeholder' where the external file will be "injected" before compilation... the Additional References/Namespaces will be merged with the actual one before compilation... Problems like indication of errors in external files could be solved… -
Debug information?
My "query" is throwing an exception and stacktrace. It would be nice if the stacktrace included line numbers. In the past I have included a .PDB file and the line numbers appear in the stack. Is it possible to include a PDB and have LINQPad use it when generating a stacktrace? If so where would I copy it? -

Request: include multiple configured database connections with saved script
I often write up scripts for myself to make updates or fixes as needed and work across multiple environments (via different database connections). I've also been sharing these scripts with coworkers to be able to do the same thing. However, when I share a script, it only includes the one connection I saved at the time but… -
