Issue with LinqPad Nuget Manager - Unable to Load Service Index
Hello, I'm encountering an issue with the LinqPad Nuget Manager. Whenever I try to use it, I receive the following error message: "Unable to load the service index for source https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json". However, when I use VS Code or Visual Studio on the same computer, I can connect to NuGet and download packages… -
Dll not found starting DataContext driver which use nuget packages
I am attempting to update a DataContext driver written for LinqPad4 so that it will work in LinqPad 8. I have upgraded the project to compile under net6.0-windows and copied the output to %localappdata\LINQPad\Drivers\DataContext\NetCore But this uses a component from Xceed's Extended WPF Toolkit (see… -
Script event order using Util.HtmlHead.AddScript
Hi, I'm trying to run a script on DOMContentLoaded where I reference a DOM element in the body. My (incorrect) assumption was that the script would not be run until something is Dumped, but this isn't the case. When doSomeProcessing below runs, the console in devtools shows an uncaught TypeError on the… -
Disable the message "This computer currently has a 488ms latency on assembly loads...."
Every time Linqpad 8 starts up it shows the nagging message: "This computer currently has a 488ms latency on assembly loads. This can degrade compiler performance and is usually caused by antivirus software." I don't really care about the degrade compiler performance. How can I disable showing of the message? -

Re: The "Util.CacheAsync" get hang on specific condition
There is indeed a bug here, whereby the task never completes instead of posting an exception. The exception that should appear is as follows: Cannot load type 'UserQuery+VideoDetails' from cache.Add the [Serializable] attribute to this type to make it cacheable. If you add that attribute to your VideoDetails class, it will… -
LINQPad Not Allowing Use of WebView2
Hello, I find LINQPad to be an invaluable tool. I've been using for many versions. One of the things I do with LINQPad is create minimal prototypes that we eventually turn into "enterprise code" that goes into our automated build/deploy processes. A current prototype I have uses WebView2 to load a JavaScript library to do… -

Re: How to see "warnings" message in LINQPad?
If it was not for this thread, then I probably would not have paid attention to the warnings message that I got today, but I did not see the little yellow triangle anywhere, so I went investigating using Util.Compile. (As an aside I discovered a parameter which allows you to force a rebuild). I'm not sure whether your… -

Re: RFE: support 'mixin' scripts?
FWIW, it looks like there's an existing Roslyn standard for this being called #load AFAICT? https://github.com/scriptcs/scriptcs/wiki/Writing-a-script#loading-referenced-scripts#load is not a scriptcs invention, but rather a C# REPL standard. As a consequence of this, if you have Roslyn CTP installed and you use C#… -
