Linqpad 5 upgrades
Options
I see that new purchasers will get a "free upgrade to the Rolsyn-enabled LINQPad 5.0 (for C# 6.0 / Framework 4.6), when released later this year".
What will be the upgrade policy for those of us who purchased prior to 1 January 2015?

The details haven't been finalized yet, but there is certain to be at least a 2-3 month window where a favorable upgrade path will be available. You won't have to pay the full price again. It will be advertised through email and social media.

Thanks - I'll wait eagerly to hear more!

Isn't it Roslyn, not Rolsyn?
LINQPad website also says "free upgrade to the Rolsyn-enabled LINQPad 5.0". -
Thanks - I've fixed the typo.

Can we preorder (and prepay) this? It's pretty much a no-brainer and I don't want to be caught up in company purchase procedure after release.

Oh what a happy day. I punched in my peronsal license (from January 2009!) and was greeted with the following message:
You already have a LINQPad Premium Edition V5 license. You can upgrade the user count using the drop-down above.
Among other good news - I punched in one of the enterprise license keys and I was able to create a unique purchase order link to forward on to purchasing. You have thought of everything. Thanks Joe! -

I bought LINQPad Premium + Debugger Single-User in March 2012. I want to upgrade my license to new LinqPad 5 Premium which is currently sold for $85. Should I upgrade now or will there be same kind of special upgrade offer later when LinqPad 5 become available? Is the current offer the final favorable upgrade path You mentioned or should I wait for some kind of information when it will be presented?

Thanks Joe for such a great tool! -
The first LINQPad 5 beta is likely to be available within a few weeks. The current offer is as good as it will get.
