How to manage folders when using v5 and v8 on the same machine

Hi there,
can you give some advice on how to manage the Folder Locations when using v5 and v8 on the same machine?

We want to be able to have separate "My Queries" & "Plugins & Extensions" folders for the two different versions because (obviously) many of our .Net framework queries won't work in .Net Core and vice versa.

However, if we set up a new folder for v8 and then update the path in v8 to that folder, v5 also picks up the same path.

We could have one folder with subfolders for the two different versions, but that seems a bit clunky and wouldn't work for MyExtensions anyway. Sorry if this has already been covered as it seems pretty basic, but I couldn't work it out.

MyExtensions should be in different folders by default

But it sounds like you want the Portable Deployment
