Premium features on Parallels VM

Hi,
Is it correct that I cannot use premium LinqPad features on a VM running under Parallels Desktop?

Comments

  • I'm not sure how Parallels works. If the underlying hardware doesn't keep changing, it should be possible to activate premium features, although it might be recognized as a physical machine rather than a virtual machine.
  • You can use it fine, under parallels my activation is counted as (Virtual). The only problem is that if you are using an Intel macbook and you use bootcamp, the licence you activated in Parallels will NOT be active in Bootcamp when you boot windows. I have also on the rare occurrence where my Bootcamp linqpad licence has been deactivated automatically... probably some changes bootcamp does under the hood.
