Wrong schema for linked server

I'm adding an additional db using a linked server but the tables show up with an incorrect schema and thus I cannot query these tables since they, rightly, state that there is no table with that schema on the linked server.

Can you run a SQL Profiler while building datacontext and compare the output of these queries with the actual database schema?

LINQPad generates incorrect SQL for my query. It inserts a schema from the database having the linked server defined to all tables referenced on the remote linked server. Since that schema does not exist on the remote db the query, naturally, fails.
