LPRun on linux (.net core 5)
Hi, is it possible to get LPRun to execute on linux? (this is to run batch jobs)
Trying to run a basic script crashes
The type initializer for 'LINQPad.FrameworkResolver' threw an exception.

I also want that, LPRun6 on Linux, UI is not required.
me too
me too, can drop Windows related functions, but able to deploy in Linux.
@JoeAlbahari I see you've engaged in https://linqpad.uservoice.com/forums/18302-linqpad-feature-suggestions/suggestions/16961749-linqpad-on-net-core and https://forum.linqpad.net/discussion/1983/roadmap-for-cross-platform-ubuntu-linux but not in this thread. Is any version of lprun functional on Linux? I don't need the GUI; I just want lprun so that I can run .linq scripts through command line. Based on https://www.linqpad.net/PortableDeployment.aspx, it seems like LPRun doesn't look cross-platform yet. Do you have any updated plans for Linux support?
You can vote for that feature here:

(I've edited the title to make it easier to find.)
Note that this feature is more expensive to implement than it might sound, and would incur ongoing costs for the life of LINQPad. It would require creating and maintaining dev/debug and automated test environments on Linux/MacOS, increased deployment & testing complexity with each release, support requests arising on these platforms, and having to deal with bug reports and stack traces from historical versions (there would be no auto-update mechanism without the GUI). It can still be done, but the feature would need to get significant use to justify the initial and ongoing costs.
