Will Linqpad 9 come out with .NET 9 and Linqpad 8 users will have to pay for an upgrade?
I noticed that Linqpad major versions come out around the releases of .NET.
Will Linqpad 9 come out with .NET 9 and Linqpad 8 users will have to pay for an upgrade?

Major versions of LINQPad are currently every two years, which coincides with every second .NET release.
So, LINQPad 8 will cover .NET 9.
And LINQPad 9 will be released in November 2025 and will cover .NET 10 + .NET 11 (assuming Microsoft maintains its yearly cadence).
When will EF 9 support be added to LINQPad 8?
