LP8, startup only works with admin
LP8 only starts when I run 'as administrator'
I've been tolerating this and I can't remember when it started. I do have the latest version 8.8.9 (X64) on win11. If I run normal, I do see the startup box but then it goes away and nothing.
I do still have LP7 installed, and it runs in normal mode just fine.
Noting the in local appdata logs, nothing obvious in the event logs.
Is there anything else I can look at to get me running in user credentials?

I can't think what could cause that without writing an entry to %localappdata%\LINQPad\Logs.LINQPad8\log.txt or the Windows Event log.
Is it an installed version or is it running from a bespoke folder? And do any LINQPad processes remain?
