Opening a hyperlinq in the default application

I make extensive use of hyperlinqs to URLs or file paths in my script results. These have always opened in the default application (browser or image viewer) when clicked. I just clicked one to a URL and the web page opened directly in the LINQPad results pane. I presume this may be a new behaviour in the latest version, (I have version 8.9.5) but I'd prefer clicked hyperlinqs to open in the default application as before. I had a quick look for an option that might control this but didn't see one. Is there such an option?

  • This can probably be disregarded. I created a new expression script, creating just the same hyperlinq and it opened in the default browser as it always has done. It was only the hyperlinq in the original script result that opened in the internal browser. And after restarting LINQPad and re-running that script, the hyperlinq once again opened in the default browser.

I'm not sure why it opened in the internal browser that one time. I've never seen that happen before.

  • Links created with Hyperlinq are opened in default browser when left-clicked and in LINQLad embedded browser when middle clicked.
