Did I lose one of my licenses for upgrade discount
So I have 2 single licenses purchased at different times. When I upgrade the version ( to v8?) i think it gave me an option to merge the 2 into a single license, which I did. Now 1 license code can activate up to 6 computers.
A few days back I decided to upgrade to v9, but to reduce the cost I asked support if they can split my license into 2 so I can upgrade only 1. They changed my existing license from 2-user to single-user and so I was able to upgrade for only the cost of 1.
Now I have a license code for V9 and the old license code I can still use up to V8. Great.
For my curiosity, I tried to upgrade the old code again, which the system detected it was already upgraded. But doesn't that prevent me from getting the upgrade discount if ever I decided to upgrade the other user from my previously 2-user license?
