Get basic info for registered connections

Could a method be added to retrieve basic connection info for all registered connections?
Maybe things like name, friendly name, driver, production flag, etc. and most importantly, the connection string.
I want to be able to run queries against multiple databases in a single script. I created the contexts necessary to consume the connection strings, but currently have to hardcode them into the script. They all come from the connections I have already set up in the connection list. I'd like to be able to query these at runtime so I can pull the connection strings on a number of them but this doesn't seem to be possible.
