LinqPad IQ driver not working after uninstalling DevArt LinqConnect
Options
I installed linqconnect express. After uninstalling that, the iq driver in linqpad is no longer working. It is throwing an error "License not found". I've tried removing and readding the driver, and its still throwing that error. If I reinstall LinqConnect, it works fine.

What version of the IQ driver are you using?

IQ 2.1.0.0. I've tried reinstalling that too. I did notice that toad for mysql also had the issue, but reinstalling toad fixed toad. IQ only seems to work now when I have LinqConnect installed.

I've just uploaded a newer IQ driver that should fix the problem. Download again and let me know.

Thanks Joe, that took care of it.

Off topic since I had sort of the opposite problem after installing devart express the LinqPad IQ driver tells me express mode does not support direct connect to Oracle. Still an issue after reinstalling LinqPad. Had to back out the devart express install. Seems you can't have devart express installed alongside LinqPads non-express devart bits.

Does DevArt let you install DevArt Express without installing into the GAC? That might avoid the problem.
