Disable Access to Instant-Share feature.
I'm currently working for an organisation that has strict rules about software that developers are allowed to use. I've requested LinqPad adding to the 'approved' list. The only reservation they have is that it includes the code sharing function 'instant-share'.
Is there a simple way of disabling instant share.
Currently the only way the security guys have been able to disable access is to block the entire linqpad.net domain. (or so they say!)
Would it be possible to disable it with a simple firewall rule or is it possible to get a version of the executable that doesn't include the functionality.

If your firewall blocks at the level of https://www.linqpad.net/share, it won't affect anything other than sharing.
The problem with adding an option in LINQPad to disable instant share is that there's no easy way to stop individual developers from switching off that option.
