In-place upgrade procedure?

I can't find instructions on how to upgrade edition.

I have developer installed. Then on the site, I purchased upgrade. I received the same code in email that I had before. So what is the "proper" procedure on how to get this installation to recognize it?

    Still shows (Developer Edition).
    Should I remove the license and re-add it or something?

    Have you tried this page? There is also Customer Service and Feedback Page under About LINQPad menu.

    I didn't try anything because I don't like mucking around with licenses unnecessarily and thought this would be an easy question.

    Regardless, I went ahead and removed the license from my computer and added it back again. The edition is listed correctly this time. I think a single line mentioning to do this somewhere online or in the email would be awesome.

    That's the correct procedure - remove the license and then re-activate. I thought this was mentioned in the license email - I'll check and fix this if it's not the case.
